Take route 101 north to Hopland.  At Hopland, take route 175 east (over the grade) 18 miles to Lakeport.  At Junction 29, go north, then exit east at the Scotts Valley / 11th Street exit.  Go about one mile, then turn right at Forbes Street.  Forbestown Inn is 3 blocks on the right. 

About 30 minutes longer, but less hilly, take route 101 north to approx. 5 miles north of Ukiah.  Exit route 20 east, then route 29 south to Lakeport.  Exit Scotts Valley/11th Street east.  Go about one mile, then turn right at Forbes Street.  Forbestown Inn is 3 blocks on the right.

Directions from Sacramento:

Take Interstate 5 north just past Williams and take the Clearlake/Highway 20 exit.  Turn left (west) at the stop sign.  In Nice, take the Nice/Lucerne cuttoff left (at Sentry Market) and follow it to Highway 29.  Take Highway 29 south to Scotts Valley/11th Street east exit.  Go about one mile, then turn right at Forbes Street.  Forbestown Inn is 3 blocks on the right.

Directions from the North:

Take route 101 south to Ukiah.  Before you get to Ukiah, exit route 20 east, then route 29 south to Lakeport.  Exit Scotts Valley/11th Street east.  Go about one  mile, then turn right at Forbes Street.  Forbestown Inn is 3 blocks on the right.
